Before taxing the bill now under consideration I called

the attention of the Liquidator'a Solicitors to what I

consider to be a very gross overcharge in their previous

bill. This concerns the notice to contributories of the

date fixed by the Liquidator for settling the list of

contributories. The list of contributories had already

been made out and charged for by the Solicitors. A notioe

was prepared and copies were printed in Enlish and Chinese.

One oopy was sent to each of the 172 contributorfes after

inserting in it the name of the contributory and the

particulars appearing against his name in the list of

contributories.

In respect of each of these noticed the Solicitors

charged: -
